The High Price of Oil… is the oil drop we’re experiencing now for real or just the result of China lowering their fuel consumption by 50% in preparation for the Olympics… yep smog is so bad there because of all the industrial machinery that they actually stopped these factories from running during the Olympics…
The High Price of Food… yeah food prices are going up… experts say its because of the high price of fuel which is forcing countries to ramp up their biofuel production at the expense of land initially planted for food…
The war on Artificial Contraception in the Philippines between the Church and the State because of the reproductive health bill that congress is trying to pass. Church will have nothing to do with it because it is against the will of God. The problem is that the Philippines now has a population of over 88 M and still rising. Some sectors say that it is those living below the poverty line that have large families and keep on reproducing without control and who really need the reproductive health bill… right or wrong, what the Philippines really needs is a solid family planning program… if we don’t have that, we might end up having to eat each other because our sheer size is really taxing our food supply and environment
