Buzzed
I had a very interesting morning… I rushed out of the house after hearing a helicopter nearby… I usually don’t gawk at helicopters when they flyby but this one I had to make an exception because it sounded close. And when I got out it was indeed close.
Turns out that a military helicopter landed right infront of my house. There’s an open field infront of my house owned by my neighbor, huge enough I guess to accomodate a helicopter.
Don’t know why they landed but it wasn’t for long because as soon as they touched down they waited for a few seconds then flew away.
I am assuming that it could have been a training flight and they might have been practising something as they didn’t seem to have any mechanical trouble.
This isn’t the first time that helicopters have buzzed my house. It seems like my house is part of their flight corridor to the airport, since aside from military flights I see commercial airplanes making their approach to the airport.
That was a first. Too bad I wasn’t able to take pictures.
