Just read somewhere that a texas republican wanted to pass a law that requires asians to change their names to make it easy for people to understand. Oh well, you can’t please everybody.

Wasn’t the first time, during the 1500’s, the Spanish government required the Filipino’s to change their names in order to make taxation easier.

The price you pay for being in a race with the God given genes of having skin and a complexion that makes you young looking even when you’re past 40 *snicker*

I just hate looking at foodstuff turned into jewelry…. because they make me hungry just looking at them… grawrrrrrr

I feel sad whenever I hear news of OFW’s (Overseas Filipino Worker) being scammed. It’s a curse of this perception that OFW’s have a lot of money. Ok so maybe a small percentage of them have a lot of money, but the reality is that the majority of them eke out just enough to support their families at home. That’s why its despicable to see people conning people from the meager earnings that they have.

Found it interesting that a patent office opened up in Davao City. Well satellite office really, since all Intellectual property filings will still be processed and approved in Manila.

Despite that, its nice to know that there is a place in Mindanao where people can easily file their patent designs and register their copyrights and trademarks without ever having to go to Manila.

Written a long time ago but still so very much applicable to this day and age. I guess that’s why they are considered great Philosophers in the first place because their thoughts are timeless and because they are such great forward thinkers.

Just found myself visiting these old blogs of mine… not much memories and thoughts were written down here because I was blogging already at my personal blog when I signed up for this one… but its great to have a lock on you screen name in these public blogs

My ISP (Smart Bro) is on the fritz again, or is it?… I can access some sites while some sites just time out… is it a problem with my ISP or the entire internet in general?

Earlier in the day I was able to access my web based email… then now it’s not accessible… weird…

I guess yesterday there were already telltale signs, hence I was thinking that it was my ISP that had problems… namely that I couldn’t load any attachments on my emails… weird…

And the sad part about this is that I have some work to do… grarrrrr
